Verified

How do you get Truth Social Verified? That is the question I am asked more than any other. The application process is very simple.

Truth Social Red Check

The application process is very simple. Simply send an email to [email protected]

The following is a quote from a Truth sent out in April of 2022:

Good news! You asked, we delivered.

We’ve developed an account verification protocol. If you’re interested in having your account verified, please send an email to [email protected]

We know many of you have been eager to get your account verified. Please be patient — we anticipate a large initial influx of requests and will work through them as expeditiously as possible!

I sent my email on March 31, 2022. The only instructions were to email. But, in an effort to make the process easy, I chose to send my Truth Social handle, copies of my driver’s license, faculty identification card and a link to the departmental faculty profile page at the university. I quickly received the following reply.

Dear Madam/Sir,
Your request “Verification Request” has been received and is being reviewed by our Verification team. The reference of your ticket is ####. (I replaced my ticket number with #### for privacy purposes).

To add additional comments, reply to this email.

Thank you,

Verification Team

After getting some feedback from others about the Truth Social Verified process, I decided to provide more information. So, I replied to the above email with a link to this website and the administrator email for the site.

Some of my friends on Truth Social indicated that they got emails saying that their applications had not been approved. With their permission, I have attached copies of those emails that outlined the approval criteria at the time.

It is my guess that the thing holding up most of the applications at this point is probably that LAST requirement. The one where you have to be VERIFIED ON TWITTER OR INSTAGRAM. I was never on Twitter or Instagram to get qualified. But I have done damn good work here on Truth Social. Several of my friends complained loudly about that requirement, and soon afterward they apparently stopped sending out emails. For a while, they would respond “your application is under review”, but the last time I asked about the status of my application, I didn’t get a response. Someone told me to send my request to @truthsupport, so I tried that and only received crickets in return.

It is my hope that the Truth Social team will update the Verification Criteria and communicate it to the interested users, or at least communicate to everyone what is required instead of just giving people who aren’t qualified hope that they will get a response soon.

I see new Red Checks show up every day, and they ask me how to build their accounts so they can get their voices back. Many of my conductor friends are helping them get on trains. I am just at a loss as to why someone who is enough of an influencer to be Verified has to ask for help building their account. I asked one of them who came in this past week how they got verified, and they said “I’m kinda famous. I just applied and was verified almost immediately.” So, it is very difficult for me to imagine that my application is just backed up somewhere.

I know that Truth Social is growing every single day. Lots of new celebrities and news commentators are joining our ranks and it is important that they get verified quickly so that users know who to trust. So I am patient and understand that the process can take a long time.

While some people LOVE to present my work as THEIR effort to help you… @GregDickens is the one who has taken the time to compile all this information and build these pages. So, if you want to keep up to date with the changes in the platform, please consider following me when you get back to Truth Social.

I will share any response I get and provide any additional information I receive about the process or qualifications required from Truth Social. If you have questions or issues that are not covered on this website, please be sure to visit the Truth Social Help site!
